After a stabbing in Melbourne’s north-west, a woman is fighting for her life, a man has also been hurt, and a second male has been taken into custody.
Just after 4.30am, police in Attwood discovered a 62-year-old woman suffering from serious injuries.
Attwood resident 67 had minor wounds.
Both patients were rushed to hospitals, and a 29-year-old Attwood man was detained and given medical attention on the spot.
It’s assumed that all three individuals are acquainted.
Police are urging anyone with knowledge that could help them to get in touch with them.
