A body has been discovered by police who were looking for a missing man on a property close to Adelaide.
The unidentified body was found at a semi-rural residence on Ormsby Road in Kudla, which is in the city’s north, according to South Australian Police.
It was discovered in a pit inside a shed, according to Detective Inspector Mark McEachern.
When the property search got under way last night, the pit had been cleared of water and excavators were brought in to start digging.
The search, according to police, was conducted in relation to the disappearance of 38-year-old father-of-two Steve Murphy, who was last seen camping in a swag nearby around six weeks ago.
Moreover, hydroponic equipment and cannabis plants were purportedly found during the search.
Charges against the 45-year-old occupant were brought about by the reportedly Sunday night seizure of drugs and a weapon from the property.
The remains will need to be identified by a post-mortem.
