John Farnham, a renowned Australian singer, was sent to the hospital for treatment of a respiratory ailment.
In a statement about his health released on Friday, the family of the You’re The Voice performer stated that Farnham was at ease and receiving the greatest care.
According to a statement from Jill, Rob, and James Farnham, the singer’s hospitalisation followed a significant procedure in August of last year to remove a malignant tumour from his mouth from which he is still recovering.
They stated, “We are all so extremely proud of him. He’s always been a strong and determined person with whatever he’s ever done.
He is doing well under the supervision of the specialists.
The family would like to express their gratitude once more for all the medical professionals who have cared for John over the past six months as well as for all the nice words they have received from all around Australia and the rest of the world.
In August, Farnham revealed that he had been diagnosed with cancer. To remove the tumour, he underwent a 12-hour surgery.
