US citizen Baquer Namazi, 85, has arrived in Oman after his release from six-and-a-half years’ detention in Iran, his lawyer told AFP on Wednesday.
“I confirmed they landed,” said human rights lawyer Jared Genser, who learned of Namazi’s arrival from the detainee’s cousin, who travelled with him on the plane.
