In a significant bushfire area in Western Australia, a burned-out car containing the body of a man was discovered.
The finding was made near Mt. Gibson on Wednesday afternoon, according to WA’s Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES), after crews had been dispatched to the region to help with fire relief the day before.
The Arson Squad decided the cause of the blaze was not suspicious, according to a WA Police spokeswoman.
The role played by the deceased guy on the fire ground and the events that led up to his death will be examined, according to the police.
Approximately 800 hectares of land were reportedly destroyed by fire at Mt. Gibson, which is located about 450 kilometers northeast of Perth.
Lightning was cited by DFES as the fire’s origin.
The man’s private information has not yet been made widely known.
