Overnight, a two-car collision on Sydney’s inner west’s Princes Highway claimed the life of a 20-year-old man.
Around 11.25 p.m. yesterday, patrolling officers discovered the collision on the highway close to Hart Street in Tempe.
Before NSW Ambulance arrived, according to NSW Police, they provided first treatment to the young adult who was operating a Mazda 3.
The man received more first assistance from the paramedics, but he passed away there and then.
He hasn’t been formally identified yet.
The 54-year-old Toyota Yaris driver was transported in a critical but stable condition to the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
