Omar Zahed, the most recent casualty of Sydney’s gangland conflict, was buried.
In connection with the shooting in Sydney in May of this year that killed a bikie boss’s brother, a guy has been detained.
On May 10, gunmen opened fire on the leader of the Comancheros, Tarek Zahed, 41, and his brother, Omar, 39, in the entranceway of an Auburn gym.
Omar passed away then and there, but Tarek was wounded numerous times, including in the head, yet he lived.
A short while afterwards, two burning Audi Q7 vehicles were discovered in Berala and Greenacre.
At around 10.30 p.m. yesterday, detectives detained a 22-year-old man at the Sydney Domestic terminal.
He was accused of covering up a severe indictable crime.
The man will appear in court today after being denied bail.
The inquiry is still ongoing.
