Bill Gates warns against Elon Musk

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates recently expressed concern that the failure to moderate information and comments after Elon Musk’s Twitter buy-in formalities could lead to more misinformation being spread on the social media.

According to a report in the Russian media RT.

In an interview with the Wall Street Journal on Wednesday, Bill Gates warned that “he (Mask) could make it (Twitter) worse.”

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, recently bought Twitter for 44 billion.

In the interview, however, Bill praised Musk of South African descent for his outstanding track record in building successful businesses such as Tesla and SpaceX and claimed that Musk used bolder business strategies than his competitors and “showed how to succeed.”

“It simply came to our notice then. But we have to keep an open mind and never take Elon lightly, “said Bill.

“What is his purpose? On the one hand he talks about transparency and on the other hand what do you think he is saying that the vaccine is killing people or that Bill Gates is monitoring people? Are these acceptable statements to spread among the people? So it is not yet clear what he is going to do (about Twitter) “added Bill Gates.

Elon Musk has promised to restore freedom of expression on Twitter. The announcement raises concerns among those concerned, from the White House to Silicon Valley, that Twitter will no longer censor “misinformation.” Just two days after Twitter executives agreed to accept Musk’s proposal, President Joe Biden’s administration announced plans to form a disinformation governance board.

Bill Gates told NBC News last Tuesday that there should be some legislation that would allow for better coordination between “freedom of expression and the publication of conspiratorial news that can confuse people.”

Bill Gates also said that Musk would take Twitter further and make it worse and did not want to draw any conclusions right now.

Just days before the deal to buy Twitter was finalized, Musk tweeted a mockery of Bill Gates. In the message, Musk accused Bill Gates of “shorting” Tesla shares or selling the stock for less than the market value.

“Sorry, I can’t take your philanthropic initiative on climate change seriously, because you are running a large-scale short-term operation against an organization like Tesla, which is doing the most to address climate change issues,” Musk said.
