After a dispute over a food delivery, a rising NRLW player has been accused with allegedly attacking a 17-year-old girl in a Sydney apartment building.
On July 17, police will accuse a 20-year-old woman in court of assaulting a teenage girl at a complex in Chifley.
The woman has subsequently been named as Parramatta Eels winger Kate Fallon.
According to reports, the event included a $70 UberEats order.
Fallon was charged with assault resulting in actual bodily harm after being brought to the Maroubra Police Station.
“She was given conditional bail to appear before Waverley Local Court on Wednesday 14 August 2024,” according to police.
When an argument broke out and Fallon was reportedly hit in the head, Fallon’s daughter had gone to her flat to find her order, according to her father Steve, who spoke with 2GB’s Ben Fordham.
“She’s a pretty tough cookie but to go through this without explanation,” he stated. Steve stated that his daughter sustained a wound of “5cm or 6cm” that needed to be sutured.
“Blood started gushing out of her head,” he stated.
He said that “an unknown object” struck her.
“The Parramatta Eels are aware of an incident involving a player from our NRLW team,” a club representative stated. As is customary, the Club has notified the NRL Integrity Unit. “As it is a police matter, the Club will not be making further comment at this time.”
