After being struck by a train in western Sydney yesterday, a woman passed away.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., a citybound train at Punchbowl Train Station struck and killed the 52-year-old woman.
According to authorities, the woman got up onto the track at platform one to get something she had dropped.
She could not get back up before the train came.
The train driver gave back a negative breathalyser test, and the police examined CCTV footage and conducted numerous interviews.
