A man’s body was found in Adelaide’s west, and a woman has been charged with murder.
After the body of a 60-year-old man was discovered, Caroll Ann Hopkinson, 58, a mental nurse who also owns an animal boarding company, was marched out of her Taperoo house while wearing a nightgown.
It’s assumed that she and her spouse, Simon Hopkinson, resided there.
The pair was known to one another, and it was thought that no other person was involved, but the police would not confirm if he is the claimed victim.
At 8.40 am, the woman called the emergency services. When they arrived at Medina Street, the man had already passed away.
A couple who had resided at the residence for the previous ten years, according to neighbors, was frequently seen strolling their dogs on the street.
“The street has consistently been quiet,” Kyla, a neighbor, remarked. Major Crime Investigators went through the house with forensic teams.
Hopkinson was formally taken into custody, accused of murder, and is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
