On the Central Coast of New South Wales, a house fire this morning resulted in the discovery of a man’s body.
Emergency services were dispatched to Mercator Parade in St Huberts Island at approximately 5.40 am in response to reports of a house fire.
When police and firefighters arrived, the property was well-lit and smoke was billowing, but the fire had been put out.
Following that, a search of the house turned up a man’s body.
Although his exact identity is unknown, it is thought that he is a man in his 40s.
Another two residents were able to flee the fire.
