Following a crash in Queensland’s Western Downs, a father and his two children have died, while the mother of the children is struggling for her life.
After their automobile crashed with a ute on Dalby-Jandowae Road in Jimbour East at approximately 11 a.m., the man and the children perished at the side of the road.
The mother’s health was critical and she was airlifted to the hospital.
According to Mark News Queensland, the ute is thought to have rear-ended the sedan.
The ute driver was transported to Dalby Hospital with injuries that did not pose a threat to his life.
This year, there have been over 130 fatalities on Queensland roadways.
Police Commissioner Steve Gollschewski stated, “Can I please remind everyone that we have a significant challenge with our road toll this year.”
“People on the road need to obey the rules of the road and drive to the conditions.”
Between MacAlister Bell Road and Inglenton Frees Road, Dalby-Jandowae Road was blocked. Investigating is the Forensic Crash Unit.
According to Queensland Ambulance, traffic closures are anticipated to last throughout the night.
