After police found his mother’s body in Perth’s south last night, the 33-year-old man has been charged with murder.
Byford’s Gallipoli Avenue was the scene of an emergency call at 7:05 p.m., when a woman was reported hurt.
The woman fled a residence on adjoining Larimar Avenue, died outside the house of a neighbour, and two blocks were placed under lockdown.
One local stated today, “I just heard a woman screaming around seven o’clock, then the police rocked up.”
“The street has always been incredibly quiet.
Never really had any dramas, and then this happened,” stated someone another.
It was reported that the son drove off in a silver Peugeot.
According to authorities, the automobile was seen driving north on the Great Northern Highway two hours later, just north of Bindoon.
“Officers activated emergency lights and sirens, however the driver failed to stop and an evade police incident ensued,” according to police.
The truck successfully deployed a tyre deflation system and came to a stop on the Great Northern Highway in Bindi, Bindi.
“The 33-year-old man, who was acting aggressively, challenged police and a Taser was deployed.”
After being placed under arrest, the individual is now accused of one count of murder.
Tomorrow, he is scheduled to appear before the Armadale Magistrates Court.
