In the middle of peak hour, a stolen automobile chase on the northbound M1 in the Gold Coast resulted in the arrest of three people.
The black vehicle was stopped this afternoon in Upper Coomera on the Gold Coast, south of Brisbane, using tire spikes.
About an hour ago, it was reported stolen from a Pimpama residence.
Even after the tire spikes were deployed, witnesses claimed to have seen the automobile still being driven on its rims.
Three persons allegedly fled the car, and the police apprehended them all.
Two were discovered in a park, and one was discovered in the backyard of a close house.
The M1 is still extremely clogged into the night.
