As part of their investigation into an armed robbery that occurred at a jewellery store on Sydney’s Lower North Shore last month, police are asking for information regarding two males today.
Emergency services were dispatched to a Birdwood Lane shop in Lane Cove on March 28 in response to reports of an armed robbery.
When police arrived, they were informed that two males, one of whom was carrying a pistol and dressed in dark clothing, had entered the store, threatened the employees, and then taken an item.
The males are thought to have driven off in a silver Holden Commodore with Victoria registration plates 1IH 8XX.
Investigators think that another unidentified man was operating the vehicle when it was spotted travelling in convoy with a silver Mercedes.
Officers have set up a crime scene and are requesting information to help identify two persons who may be able to assist with the investigation while they conduct further inquiries.
One man is characterised as having grey hair, a medium frame, and an olive complexion.
He had a white jumper over his neck and was dressed in a grey T-shirt, white shorts and white trainers.
The other man is characterised as having a long blond mullet, medium to solid build, and a Caucasian appearance.
He had on a red baseball cap, black trainers, yellow shorts and a grey hooded jumper.
