Following a reported stabbing outside a school in Sydney’s west on Friday, which resulted in the death of a young boy and grave injuries to his sibling, two teens have now been charged.
The 18-year-old Isiah Naden was stabbed to death on the sidewalk outside the Blacktown Police Station.
Following surgery, Isiah’s 19-year-old brother’s status is stable.
A 16-year-old made an appearance in children’s court after being accused of murder.
Additionally, a 17-year-old was brought before the court on charges of two offenses, one of which was accessory after the fact to murder.
If there was a gang connection to the stabbing, police are looking into it.
At approximately 3:40 p.m. on Friday, reports of a stabbing close to Doonside Technology High School on Power Street were made to emergency services.
The two injured guys drove from the school to Blacktown Police Station, which is approximately fifteen minutes away, before the police came.
On the walkway outside the station, Naden passed away. Police rapidly encircled the surrounding homes and school.
Police blocked off streets and looked for potential weapons and suspects.
