Detectives have taken into custody the suspected gunman nearly a year after the heinous midday execution slaying of a bikie associate in Sydney’s west.
On May 22, at around 4 p.m., Marvin Oraiha, 24, was shot and died in the driveway of his Elizabeth Hills home.
Soon after the gunfire, two cars connected to the murder were discovered burned out in the neighboring communities of Green Valley and Bonnyrigg Heights.
Detectives from Strike Force Hackenburg detained a 23-year-old man today during the execution of a search warrant at a Glen Alpine residence.
He was brought to the Campbelltown Police Station, where he will probably face murder-related charges.
Six persons who were previously charged by the police in connection with the murder are still pending trial.
