A bunch of youths are shown in horrifying video abusing a 69-year-old man at a bus stop in Brisbane.
Following an altercation at the Westfield Carindale bus stop, a 15-year-old Tanah Merah boy and a 16-year-old Coorparoo boy have been charged with serious assault and theft.
Social media users shared a video of the tense situation that, according to the police, happened on a Tuesday last week in broad daylight.
Two children are seen attacking their 69-year-old victim, pulling him to the ground, hitting, and kicking him.
Police brought the man to Princess Alexandra Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, although he wasn’t gravely hurt.
The incident’s cause is unknown, but it’s one of two that were seen on video outside the mall, and footage of a second fight was also shared on social media.
Anger has been sparked by the bloodshed.
