Following a small plane collision south of Perth, a pilot is fighting for his life.
Just before 3:30 p.m., emergency personnel were summoned to Bunbury Airport following a light plane crash at the end of the runway.
The only person inside the wreckage was the pilot, who was stuck inside.
While paramedics attempted to stabilise him, emergency personnel set up a temporary hospital next to the tarmac.
The man is still in serious condition at Royal Perth Hospital after being flown there by a RAC Rescue chopper.
He was reportedly flying a privately owned aircraft.
