One car crash in northeastern New South Wales claimed the lives of two ladies and one guy.
Around 6.30 am, emergency services were called to a crash on the Kamilaroi Highway in Curlewis, which is located approximately 20 km south of Gunnedah.
The identities of the three backseat passengers who passed away at the scene are still pending.
After first stating that three men had died, NSW Police have since stated that two women and one guy had actually perished.
The motorist, a male of 24 years old, was transported to Tamworth Hospital for required testing despite not being hurt.
“The front passenger, a woman, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before she was airlifted to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition,” the NSW Police said in a statement.
