A woman struck by a bus in Brisbane’s central business district is fighting for her life.
The woman was hit shortly before 3 p.m. when she was crossing Adelaide Street.
With severe injuries, she was taken by ambulance to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.
As a precaution, the 61-year-old bus driver was also sent to the hospital.
In reaction to the incident, Translink shuttered a number of stops along the street; however, they reopened later in the afternoon.
