A man is in court after a toddler is allegedly abducted.
Today is the man’s court appearance after he was accused of kidnapping a child from New South Wales.
A two-year-old kid is reported to have been abducted from outside an office in Coffs Harbour at approximately 2:00 pm, prompting the issuance of an amber alert yesterday afternoon.
There were additional complaints to the police that a sixty-one-year-old woman had been beaten during the event. Her shattered arm has been treated.
Locals who said they saw the alleged kidnapping and attempted to stop it called Tripple Zero multiple times.
After thorough police searches, the youngster was discovered around 11.30 p.m. in Tenterfield, 300 kilometers distant.
After being detained, a 37-year-old male was accused of willfully causing grave bodily damage and removing a child from parental custody (DV).
In addition, he faces charges of violating his bond. He will now appear at Tamworth Local Court today after being denied bail.
