A well-known, convicted fraudster with numerous aliases has been taken into custody for allegedly using deception to gain financial advantage.
Earlier this month, Samantha Azzopardi was taken into custody in Northcote. Investigators accused 35-year-old Azzopardi of using deceit to gain financial advantage.
The identity of the purported victim or victims in the most recent case remains unknown.
Due to his deceit of numerous families and authorities in Ireland, Canada, and Victoria, Azzopardi has garnered international attention.
