In a small Victorian town, a man who is thought to have attempted to rob a muffin shop was found dead by the side of the road.
An early-morning walker in Daylesford found the man’s body in the gutter on Bridport Street. According to the police, the individual was found dead on the side of the road with terrible injuries.
The man may have just made an attempt to rob a local eatery. “Pretty terrifying, this gentleman has obviously just come in thinking he could get some money,” stated an employee at the cafe.
The newly acquired owner was on the premises at the moment; the muffin store had just changed hands.
The employee added, “She would have been there making the food, muffins, and things.”
The circumstances surrounding the man’s death are being looked into by police.
