Police are looking into a suspected fire that was started early one morning near Murray Bridge at a medical facility.
A doctor’s office on Adelaide Road in the town, which is located 70 kilometres east of Adelaide, was visited by emergency personnel.
When the police and fire departments arrived, they discovered that a wheelie bin fire had extended to the doctor’s office, with flames and smoke streaming into the building.
Although there were no reported injuries, several other trash cans were discovered adjacent to be on fire.
The MFS crew put out the fire fast, but not before significant damage was done to the doctors’ office.
The South Australia Police established a crime scene, and daylong investigations are underway.
