A bulldozer on a job site in Queensland’s South Burnett region smashed and killed a worker.
At a construction site in Tarong, 200 km northwest of Brisbane, a man was treated for critical injuries this morning when machinery fell over, according to Queensland Ambulance.
It is known that the victim was crushed when a bulldozer rolled over him.
The worker’s death following the event was confirmed by a representative for Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.
The representative stated, “Investigators from Workplace Health and Safety Queensland are on their way to the scene of an incident that resulted in a worker’s death in Tarong.
On-site work has come to an end.
“Authorities, including the Queensland Police Service, are still processing the incident’s details, and a comprehensive investigation will be carried out.”
