At the Deniliquin Ute Muster in southern New South Wales, a youth is accused of setting another man on fire.
Emergency services were called to the event campsite on Saturday at around 6.40 p.m.
A 22-year-old with severe facial burns was discovered.
He was taken across the border to Victoria’s Alfred Hospital on Monday night, where he was still listed in critical condition.
He may have caught fire as a result of a man close trying to ignite an aerosol.
Following a police appeal, an 18-year-old guy arrived at the Wagga Wagga police station at 6 o’clock on Monday.
He was accused of assault causing actual bodily harm, reckless grievous bodily harm, and doing great bodily harm by using corrosive fluid.
On November 15, the teenager was given permission to appear before Deniliquin Local Court.
