A 39-year-old man has been detained in connection with yesterday’s suspected stabbing at a house in Queensland.
Two men were allegedly fighting outside a government housing complex on Milford Street in Ipswich at around 3.15 p.m., according to police.
When the emergency services came, they discovered a 39-year-old male who had reportedly been stabbed in the back.
With two wounds to his back, the injured guy was brought to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
Another male, also 39, was found nearby by the police and was quickly taken into custody.
The Ipswich guy is being held by police and is scheduled to appear in court tomorrow.
According to the police, the males were acquainted and both were 39 years old.
