In Melbourne’s south east, a man perished after his automobile struck a bus.
When the bus and the automobile crashed yesterday at 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of Burwood Highway and Mount Dandenong Tourist Road in Upper Ferntree Gully, there were no passengers on board.
The car’s driver, who has not yet been formally named, was declared dead at the scene, according to a statement from Victoria Police.
The bus driver was not hurt, according to police.
