Following an alleged assault on a police officer at a gathering in Sydney yesterday night, three men have been charged.
A hotel on Elizabeth Street in the CBD received a call for riot police shortly after midnight.
According to police, three men, ages 35, 43, and 47, were fighting during a gathering at the hotel.
Before the 35-year-old guy reportedly assaulted a male senior constable, the males are accused of attacking police as they sought to flee and resisting arrest.
Before all three of the males were taken into custody, the officer used his taser.
The 32-year-old senior constable was transported to the hospital in good health.
The 35-year-old guy was accused of intentionally assaulting a police officer while performing his duties.
