Australia will provide Ukraine with further financial aid as well as military assistance in their defence against advancing Russian forces.
The additional $110 million for Ukraine has been approved by Cabinet, raising Australia’s total contribution to $790 million, including $610 million in military aid.
The newly created package includes trucks, artillery ammunition, special operations vehicles, armoured vehicles, and special operations vehicles, according to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.

The Ukrainian people, who continue to “show great courage in the face of Russia’s illegal, unprovoked and immoral war,” will “see a real difference” from this most recent influx of help, according to Albanese, who also announced the delivery of dozens of military vehicles.
There will be 28 armoured trucks, 28 M113 armoured vehicles, and 14 special operations vehicles among the equipment that will be delivered to the battlefield.
The money will be used to provide housing, healthcare, access to clean water, and sanitary facilities for the Ukrainian people.
