A 51-year-old Western Australian man is accused of four past sex crimes that occurred in the 1990s.
According to the police, the first occurrence happened on March 19, 1995, at around 8.30 p.m.
The Duncraig man is accused of approaching a 49-year-old woman as she walked down a footpath in the Carine Open Space, threatening her with a knife, dragging her into some brush, and then sexually assaulting her.
According to police, the second incident happened on March 19, 1996, at around 3am.
The man is accused of waking up a 19-year-old woman at her Scarborough home.
He then allegedly threatened the victim with a knife before sexually assaulting her.
The third incident happened at a Crawley student housing complex at around two in the morning on February 4, 1998.
The man is accused of waking up an 18-year-old woman and threatening her with a knife before sexually abusing her.
The fourth incident happened on June 14, 1998, at 2:30 a.m. at a home in Kelmscott.
The man is accused of breaking into the home of a 22-year-old lady before abusing her sexually.
The guy was charged with 33 offenses, including seven counts of attempted aggravated sexual penetration without consent and eight counts of aggravated sexual penetration without consent. He was also accused of aggravated indecent assault, assault causing bodily damage, and aggravated indecent assault.
The man has also been charged by the police with two charges of aggravated sexual penetration without consent, three crimes of deprivation of liberty, one act of threat with the goal to get a profit, and one count of aggravated burglary and commit in a residence.
Today, the man made an appearance before Perth Magistrates Court.
