Two motorcycle gang members have been charged in relation to an alleged shooting that occurred in Sydney’s east last month.
On Saturday, May 27, seven bullets were fired from Gregory Street in South Coogee, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
Shots were allegedly fired into a flat from the street.
After the allegedly shot, no injuries were reported.
On June 2, following the execution of a search warrant, police in Sydney’s south-west detained a 41-year-old male from Campbelltown.
According to the police, a semi-automatic, highly-powered rifle with a sight was discovered at the location along with a sizable amount of drugs.
The man was accused of disregarding safety when he fired a gun at a house and of withholding information about the putative getaway driver.
He will show up at Downing Centre Local Court on June 6 after being denied bail.
On June 2, a second guy, age 31, was taken into custody at Wauchope Crescent in South Coogee.
The two males, according to the police, were members of the Hells Angels OMCG motorcycle group.
He was detained and accused of carelessly firing a gun into a house or other structure.
Additionally denied bail, the man will show up in Waverley Local Court on June 7.
