After a woman was taken to the hospital with severe burns after her car caught fire in Perth’s eastern suburbs, a man has been accused.
The mother-of-three’s blue Commodore caught fire in Mount Helena at around 6.30 p.m. Friday night, leaving her fighting for her life with burns covering nearly 40% of her body.
Since then, a guy has been accused of committing one count of aggravated grievous bodily harm.
No other people were hurt.
Police have taken control of the vehicle.
The man, 42, is scheduled to show up in Perth Magistrates Court today.
