A shot has been fired through a classroom window at a south-west Sydney school.
Both instructors and students are unharmed, and Macquarie Fields High School was not put on lockdown.
Emergency services arrived to the school at 12.45 p.m., according to NSW Police, following allegations that a “classroom window had been broken by a metal projectile.”
According to a statement from NSW Police, “a crime scene was established and an investigation into the incident was started.”
The small calibre bullet has been confiscated and will be forensically analysed by expert police, according to investigations.
