Following a horrific incident at Bochara, three and a half hours east of Melbourne on Saturday morning, four ladies are dead and a fifth has been taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
Around 9:30 a.m., emergency personnel were sent to Wannon-Nigretta Road in response to reports that a car had lost control and hit a tree.
The identities of the four women who perished at the scene are still unknown, and a fifth passenger in the car was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.
The scene has been roped off while detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit look into what caused the collision.
The teenager, who suffered upper body injuries, was taken to Melbourne’s Alfred Hospital, according to a representative for Ambulance Victoria.
