After another man allegedly suffered several stab wounds in Sydney’s southwest, a man has been prosecuted.
Around 11.15 p.m. last night, the 47-year-old man, according to the police, was allegedly attacked outside a hotel in Punchbowl.
The suspect is said to have fled the area before police arrived, but was later apprehended at a Bankstown residence.
Before being sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the injured guy was given first aid on the scene by paramedics.
A 43-year-old man has been accused of affray and wounding someone with the intent to cause great bodily damage.
He was denied bail so that he could appear today in Parramatta Local Court.
Police have formed a crime scene and are looking into the event.
