Following a police chase, five juvenile girls were detained in Sydney’s west.
The Toyota Kluger SUV was spotted by the police dog unit as it was traveling down the Great Western Highway close to Blacktown.
Despite their best efforts, they were unable to stop the automobile.
The identical vehicle struck a truck shortly after, and the five passengers escaped on foot.
The police dog squad pursued them as they fled into the neighboring woods.
Police have detained and are questioning all five of the teenage girls.
The dog bites that the 16-year-old car’s driver sustained during the arrest have been treated.
The inquiries continue.
