After a horrifying three-vehicle collision in Sydney’s west, one man has passed away and another has been hospitalized.
On Saturday afternoon, Merrylands’ Hawksview Street received a call from emergency services in response to reports of a significant collision.
Police discovered a Hyundai i30 and a Holden Commodore utility had collided when they arrived at the scene at around 5 o’clock.
The Holden rolled and collided into an empty third utility that was parked.
The driver, a 23-year-old guy, was brought to Westmead Hospital where he received treatment for minor injuries and was subjected to required tests. The passenger of the Holden, a 35-year-old man, passed away at the site.
The 37-year-old driver of the Hyundai, a third male, was also transported to Westmead Hospital for required testing even though he was unharmed.
Since then, police have set up a crime scene, and they are requesting that anyone with information on the event get in touch with Crime Stoppers.
