According to the Pakistani army, four of its border patrol soldiers were slain by Iranian assailants.
According to a statement released by the military on Saturday, the soldiers were taking part in a routine border patrol along the Pakistan-Iran border when fighters attacked in the Jalgai sector of Kech district.
The incident was not immediately attributed to anyone.
The military’s media arm, ISPR, issued a statement that said, “A group of terrorists operating from Iranian side attacked a routine border patrol of Pakistani security personnel operating along Pakistan-Iran Border.”
To effectively combat terrorists on the Iranian side and stop future occurrences, “necessary communication with the Iranian side is being created.”
Sher Ahmed, Muhammad Asghar, Muhammad Irfan, and Abdur Rasheed were named as the deceased in the report.
The border between Pakistan and Iran is more than 900 km (45 miles) long. In the past, there have been a number of security-related issues.
Nationalist Baluch rebel organisations claim to be fighting for a larger portion of the region’s riches. Operating on both sides of the border are the Baluch groups.
Shahbaz Sharif, the prime minister of Pakistan, denounced the assassination of four security personnel in Baluchistan’s vicinity to the Iranian border in January. We anticipate Iran will take steps to prevent cross-border strikes from occurring, he said.
In the province’s Bolan region, a passenger train exploded in January, injuring at least 13 persons.
