Police shot a guy following an alleged carjacking close to Geelong.
Around 3.50 pm yesterday, Victoria Police received reports of a carjacking near Iona Street in Norlane, which is when the incident started.
According to the police, a guy in his 70s was allegedly taken out of his car and threatened with a gun.
According to a statement from Victoria Police, “the offender sped off in the Holden Commodore and police were notified.”
About 4.25 pm, the stolen automobile was purportedly discovered in Warrawee Avenue.
A man brandishing a gun approached officers and confronted them; the man was then shot by officers.
The patient is in a stable condition in the hospital.
