In Sydney’s south, two people were washed off cliffs and into the river, one of whom is critically hurt.
The women were rescued from the sea shortly after emergency services were dispatched to the incident at Kurnell at approximately 430 p.m.
Two of the women were given CPR by paramedics, but they passed away right away.
In addition to being treated for hyperthermia, there are worries that the third woman may have suffered a spine damage.
In addition, two onlookers are receiving treatment for hyperthermia.
They may have attempted to assist in the women’s rescue.
Although rock fishermen frequent the region, there is no proof that the women were fishing.
It’s also infamously risky.
Along the same area of coast, two fishermen perished last month after being swept off cliffs.
