Darwin Botanical Gardens witness a woman’s death after a tree branch falls

A big tree limb collapsed in Darwin’s botanical gardens yesterday afternoon, killing a woman and critically hurting a man.

At around 12.50 pm, emergency services were called to the George Brown Botanic Gardens.

At the scene, a 28-year-old woman passed away.An injured guy, 33, was brought to Royal Darwin Hospital.

Yesterday afternoon, police blocked off the area and asked residents to stay away.
