Police are looking for two men who are said to have vanished while out in northwest Tasmania digging for gold.
Joshua Heel-Murray and Cody Evans called loved ones to let them know they were lost yesterday at 8:30 p.m.
They said they were trying to travel to Spion Kop Road while searching for gold in a white older-style Mitsubishi Pajero around the Mengha region.
The search has been started by Tasmania Police after they were unable to reach the males.
There is now the Westpac Rescue Helicopter.
